eLearning Example: 3D Printing Safety
Project Overview:
Usage of 3D printers are getting popular to the ease of usage and prototyping flexibility. However there have been increase of safety breaches in the 3D printing lab. In this course, the learner will develop good safety practice in the 3D printing lab through the following:
- Selecting the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Stereolithography (SLA)
- Demonstrate Safety Practice when handling the contaminated SLA PPEs after use
- Develop good safety practice in the FDM lab
- Apply proper safety procedures during the troubleshooting of FDM printer
